Thepinmustalsobesetupasaninputbysettingthecorrespondingbitintheportcontrolregister. Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandthecorrecttransitiontypeappearsonthe externalinterruptpin,asubroutinecalltotheexternalinterruptvector,willtakeplace.Whenthe interruptisserviced,theexternalinterruptrequestflags,INT0F,INT1F,willbeautomatically resetandtheEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts.Notethatanypull- highresistorselectionsontheexternalinterruptpinswillremainvalidevenifthepinisusedasan externalinterruptinput. TheINTEDEGregisterisusedtoselectthetypeofactiveedgethatwilltriggertheexternal interrupt.Achoiceofeitherrisingorfallingorbothedgetypescanbechosentotriggeranexternal interrupt.NotethattheINTEDEGregistercanalsobeusedtodisabletheexternalinterruptfunction. |
