Thisprovidesmanufacturerswiththepossibilityofmanufacturingtheircircuitboardscompletewith

aprogrammedorun-programmedmicrocontroller,andthenprogrammingorupgradingtheprogram

atalaterstage.Thisenablesproductmanufacturerstoeasilykeeptheirmanufacturedproducts

suppliedwiththelatestprogramreleaseswithoutremovalandre-insertionofthedevices.

linefortheclock.Twoadditionallinesarerequiredforthepowersupplyandground.Thetechnical

detailsregardingthein-circuitprogrammingofthedevicesarebeyondthescopeofthisdocument

andwillbesuppliedinsupplementaryliterature.

Duringtheprogrammingprocess,theusermusttakecareoftheICPDAandICPCKpinsfordata

andclockprogrammingpurposestoensurethatnootheroutputsareconnectedtothesetwopins.
