OPERATION AT VOLTAGES OTHER THAN 2.0V
The ADXL366 is tested and specified at a supply voltage of VS =
2.0V. However, the ADXL366 can be powered with a VS as high
as 3.6V or as low as 1.1V. Some performance parameters change
as the supply voltage changes, including the supply current (see
Figure 42), noise (see Table 10 and Table 2), offset, sensitivity, and
self test output change.
Figure 66 shows the potential effect on 0g offset at varying supply
voltages. Data for Figure 66 was calibrated to show 0mg offset at
2.0V.

SENSITIVITY DEPENDENCY WITH ODR
The output sensitivity changes slightly with the ODR setting. Figure
67 shows the typical sensitivity change with the ODR for each axis
for 2g range.

SENSITIVITY DEPENDENCY WITH POWER
MODE
The output sensitivity changes slightly with the power mode setting.
For example, switching from normal operation mode to ultra-low
noise mode there is a ~2% sensitivity reduction, as shown in the
Figure 68.

MECHANICAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR
MOUNTING
Mount the ADXL366 on the PCB in a location close to a hard
mounting point of the PCB to the case. Mounting the ADXL366 at
an unsupported PCB location, as shown in Figure 69, can result
in large, apparent measurement errors due to undampened PCB
vibration. Locating the accelerometer near a hard mounting point
ensures that any PCB vibration at the accelerometer is greater than
the mechanical sensor resonant frequency of the accelerometer
and, therefore, effectively invisible to the accelerometer. Multiple
mounting points, close to the sensor, and/or a thicker PCB also help
to reduce the effect of system resonance on the performance of the
sensor.
