At reset

Serial I/O shift register (SIO) [Address : 001216]

A shift register for serial transmission and reception.

At transmitting : Set transmission data.

At receiving : Store received data.

Note: A content of the Transmit buffer register cannot be read out.

A data cannot be written to the Receive buffer register.
